The three of us (me, laili and juana) went to Nottingham today with the intention to watch the Nottingham Games (Msian games for the undergrad and postgrad students in UK) and also to see my friend...the game was not that interesting as there were no representatives from Birmingham Uni...sob sob...if I knew the game earlier, I would have participated...anyway, managed to go out from Birmingham for the first time and see other parts of England...Nottingham Uni was nice...got a lot of green field unlike Birm Uni...there was also a big lake with lots of swans...pretty lovely...but the city centre was not that lively compared to Birm and it's hard to find halal food...hmm. guess I like Birm better in that sense.. :horay:
